Christine Allen is an experienced senior housing professional with over 30 years’ leadership experience across local government and large housing associations, operating at both strategic and operational levels. 

They bring a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing the housing sector and extensive expertise across social rented, leasehold and shared ownership housing. Their experience includes local authority leadership, tenant involvement, community development, income management, financial inclusion, safeguarding, domestic abuse and community safety. 

They have also led organisational change, service redesign, innovation and project management, alongside performance management, risk mitigation and assurance. Strong partnership-building skills span health, social care, policing and voluntary sector organisations, with extensive experience delivering physical, social and economic regeneration.
