Matthew Wicks

Matthew joined Tpas in 2019 following 35 years’ experience working in social housing across London boroughs and housing associations. He is passionate about empowering residents to engage meaningfully with their landlords and influence the services they receive. 

Matthew has delivered SMART Reviews of housing organisations, assessing services through engagement with staff and residents and developing practical action plans for improvement. 

As a Tpas Independent Tenant Advisor, he has supported complex projects including estate demolition and housing association mergers, requiring honesty, sensitivity and impartiality. His expertise includes service reviews, independent tenant advice, SMART Reviews, housing policy and legislation, and developing effective policies, procedures and handbooks.
